Reporting to the Business Applications and Data Team Lead, this position is responsible for building key relations with The Gordon’s stakeholders to identify, scope, and develop plans to drive solutions. Critical to the position will be the ability to understand business needs, think strategically, be innovative, identify opportunities, manage projects and engage stakeholders. The role serves as a bridge between the Corporate Information Solutions (CIS) team and its customers, facilitating communication to coordinate and assist planning and implementation of initiatives and strategies.
The Customer Engagement Lead ensures that all project requirements are captured, comprehensive analysis is conducted and develops a Business Case to drive these initiatives through into key projects. This role will provide significant support and knowledge into the Strategy, Planning and Budget process for CIS.
Employment opportunity Full Time Fixed Term Contract to 16 May 2025 (Parental Leave Backfill)
Salary $92,682 to $105,233 p.a plus Superannuation
Superannuation is paid at the current superannuation guarantee rate.

About The Role:
BKI is seeking a Teacher - Animal Studies to join our Corrections team at Tarrengower Prison. The key responsibility of this role is to deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessment for Certificate III in Animal Care Services a range of settings including classroom, workplace, and online environments.
We are excited about you because you have:
- A Degree, Diploma or Certificate relevant to the academic level and industry experience relevant to the Animal Care and management Industry.
- Currently studying (enrolled and actively working towards completing TAE within two years) OR have a completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A)

About The Role:
As part of the IE leadership team, the primary responsibilities of this role are leading and managing the coordination, design, development, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of vocational education and training programs and services, informed by industry and learner expectations. This role will lead a team of Teachers and is responsible for all aspects of their performance against business targets and their development. The role will also undertake the Scheduling and allocation of Teachers to courses and classes and teach as required. The Program Lead is accountable for monitoring student progress and results, in accordance with regulatory standards.

- A vocational qualification in one of the Learning Areas managed by the role.
- Current Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma in (TAE50116, TAE50216 or TAE50122) containing 200 hours of supervised practicum, or higher VET qualification, including TAEDEL502 Studies in Adult Learning Methodology, and TAERES501 Apply Research to Training and Assessment Practices.
- Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of course design, delivery and assessment, within the governance framework.
- Proficient in IT management systems and MS Office suite. * Understanding of auditing regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results against organisational goals for which the role is responsible.
- Experience with effectively leading, engaging and developing teams to the attainment of organisational goals.
- Highly developed relationship building and influencing skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate effectively across large groups and deal with personal matters sensitively.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position provides administrative project and operational support to the Executive Officers of two Curriculum Maintenance Management (CMM) Services within the Education Innovation, Teaching and Learning team. The CMM Services are provided by Chisholm under contract to the Victorian Government and the Victorian Skills Authority.
The CMM Services support the strategic objectives of the Victorian Government and provide a state-wide function for a portfolio of industry areas to:
- Develop draft Victorian Purchasing Guides (VPG)
- Monitor and maintain Victorian Crown copyright Accredited Courses
- Provide advice to government in relation to national training products and vocational education and training (VET) policy
- Monitor, analyse and advise on the development and endorsement of national training packages.
The primary focus of this role is to support the CMM Services Executive Officers to provide the service deliverables as described in the government contract. This role will focus on providing administrative project and operational support for Chisholm’s two CMM Services: Business Industries and General Manufacturing.
Key functions of the role include stakeholder engagement and network coordination, high-quality document production, information management, research support, data analysis, monitoring VET sector regulatory and policy information and providing administrative support to the Executive Officers.
ABOUT YOU
You will have the following qualifications, skills & experience:
- Substantial experience in a teaching, technical or administrative role in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector (e.g. administration, management, Training and Assessment (TAE), workplace trainer, learning/resource developer)
- Relevant administrative and/or academic degree or VET qualification/s.
- Current knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training system through experience gained from working in a Registered Training Organisation.
- High-order technical competence in the use of the Windows operating environment, including knowledge of the advanced operations of Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environment and work independently.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills for dealing professionally with both internal and external clients.
- Highly developed organisational and administrative skills, with the demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and activities within designated timeframes and quality parameters.

As a Teacher - Barbering, you will provide professional teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for learners, the organisations that employ them and the communities they serve.

ABOUT YOU
You will have relevant tertiary qualifications as follows:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications that meet the RTO Standards

- Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience in the areas of assisting with client services and hairdressing, including men’s haircutting

This role forms part of a highly rewarding project where Box Hill Institute, in partnership with Corrections Victoria, provide prisoners the opportunity to complete Nationally Recognised Training courses to achieve qualifications and improve their confidence, life skills and increase employability once released from prison.

- Individual Assessor appointment from WorkSafe Victoria (delivery of high risk license) - for Forklift delivery

About the role:
An exciting, ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute on an ongoing basis as our Course Coordinator- Early Childhood and Education Support!
The Course Coordinator leads a team of education professionals to design deliver, evaluate and continuously improve leading edge programs for their area. As the operational leader for their programs, they optimise resourcing, and manage day to day operational effectiveness. They provide ongoing professional development for their team, and proactively manage team and individual performance.
Together with the Director and Manager, the Course Coordinator manages delivery that is aligned with the overall BHI Strategy and Education Strategy. They are responsible for student experience and outcomes of their area, including out of classroom student experience in conjunction with key stakeholders across BHI. They support, coach and train Teachers to deliver an excellent student experience and provide necessary support in achieving student outcomes. Coordinators may teach as required.
They participate in and may also lead course transitions. They develop and maintain expert knowledge and ensure that they and their team maintain required qualifications. They are accountable for program and student compliance and managing to their program budgets.
This position is responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the Box Hill Institute and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
- A relevant approved AQF Level 6 qualification in adult and vocational education.
- A vocational qualification relevant to the Department.
- Desirable: A management or leadership qualification
- Highly developed educational leadership expertise plus extensive management and/or teaching skills
- Proven significant experience leading and managing teaching programs that comply with relevant quality standards with a strong understanding of competency-based training and assessment
- Demonstrated experience applying and coaching employees on teaching methodologies, techniques and standards appropriate to subject areas
- Experience managing and motivating a high performance team of teaching employees, managing performance, facilitating development and providing feedback and coaching improving productivity and performance

The Engineering department is responsible for the delivery of training, catering to both the fabrication trade and the mechanical trade, with programs including; pre-apprenticeship, traineeship and Apprenticeship. There are post trade programs encompassing advanced engineering skills across the mechanical and fabrication industries, as well as VETiS programs that cover a range of innovative technologies emerging in the industry.
This position encompasses all facets of the learning process from course enquiry and advice to assessing and determining the training requirements of Institute clients, The work requires the management of the learning process for students using a variety of TAFE teaching strategies such as recognition of prior learning, on-line learning support, workplace learning, delivery and assessment as well as traditional classroom delivery.
This position provides high-quality training services on behalf of the Engineering department. The role requires an innovator who can effectively respond to the training demands of Institute clients, who is able to work in a variety of environments and with different teaching and learning modes. The Teacher is also responsible for developing resources and assessment tools to support this delivery and for developing and maintaining relationships with industry and key government bodies.

About the role:
Exciting opportunity for a part time Client Services Administrator to join our team at Box Hill Institute! This role is .8 FTE (4 days per week).
The VDSS (Vocational Education and Training Delivered to Secondary Schools) Administrator is responsible for providing a range of services to students, secondary schools, faculties, teachers, and employees across Box Hill Institute. This position provides a first point of contact for all VDSS enquiry and provides a range of administrative support to enable the effective delivery of VDSS and Auspice programs with a focus on educational excellence and excellent customer service.
The VDSS Administrator is a member of the VDSS team working collaboratively with the faculties who deliver VET in Schools programs at BHI. Responsible for the administration and compliance support of all VDSS and Auspice programs, working with more than 2,000 students across multiple schools within our region.
Please note; this role is part time, ongoing (4 days per week) and salary is pro rata PACCT 3 $56,592 per annum (exclusive of superannuation)
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role. Experience in administration of educational delivery and/or professional services is an advantage
- A relevant qualification in business administration (desirable)
- Experience in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels, and a commitment to providing a high level of customer care in an administrative role
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing high quality, accurate correspondence and reports to stakeholders
- Ability to use all MS Office applications proficiently for a range of tasks including generating letters, reports and database management is essential
- Knowledge of information management systems including Student One, CELCAT and Finance One is highly advantageous
- Experience in working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve team goals, including excellent organisational skills, flexibility during peak periods, and ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential

About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as the Executive Officer - CMM-Automotive!
Within this role you will be assisting with the operational delivery of CMM-Automotive day-to-day activities under the direction of the Supervising Executive Officer. Ensuring compliance with contractual and service obligations to the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industries and Regions (DJSIR) whilst providing optimal level and high quality services to the State’s RTOs and clients of BHI with a focus on educational governance, operations management and business growth.
BHI is contracted to provide the Curriculum Maintenance Manager (CMM) service for Automotive in Victoria. The Executive Officer - CMM-Auto is a member of the Curriculum Maintenance team situated in Academic Governance division of BHI. This position works professionally with employees at all levels across the State and BHI. This involves maintaining productive relationships with the relevant employers, industries, governments and relevant agencies and managing staff and resources involved in the administration processes to ensure achievement of quality outcomes for all students.
CMMs are strategically positioned to provide quality information and support on training product development, facilitating the reinvigoration of TAFE and fostering lifelong learning. Automotive study areas relevant to this position comprise retail, servicing, repair and manufacturing. The CMM-Auto will also be required to assist other CMM portfolios as required.
Please note: This position is part time (0.5FTE) fixed term position until 31 January 2025. The salary is pro rata PACCT 8 level $98,244 plus compulsory superannuation contribution.
About You:
- An approved trade qualification in the automotive trade field (preferred).
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, or TAE40116, or TAE40110 with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502).
- Significant experience across a range of professional and technical discipline with a demonstrated ability in working with Jobs and skills Councils (JSCs) or their predecessors (Service Skills Organisations (SSO), Industry Reference Committees (IRC) and Technical Advisory Committees (TAC)) in the automotive field on a state and national basis.
- Proven knowledge of the CMM - Automotive training packages; demonstrated experience in managing curriculum and training projects within budget, plus proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge of current audit, quality, legislative and policy/procedural requirements for CMM training packages and programs.
- Sound knowledge of project management principles and demonstrated experience in managing projects in an adult learning environment.
- Understands and works to address underlying problems, opportunities or external events affecting BHI and the Education relevant sectors.

About The Role:
The Manager Offshore, LEV, ZEV & Short at BKI, will be responsible for growing the Automotive Centre of Excellence's profile and market position in line with the BKI strategic vision. Working with and supporting the team to achieve their KPIs will be integral to the role. It is important to develop relationships across industry to ensure the team's offering meets industry expectations and translates to best practice educational delivery methods and course design for our students. The role will also lead and develop a team of engaged professionals to deliver education that exceed legislative and BKI quality standards to maintain our reputation for excellence in teaching, learning and service delivery. You will influence training initiatives abroad, including India and China, Work with governments and industry in Australia and abroad & Lead training in Clean Economy initiatives; Battery EVs & Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicles.
We are excited about you because you have:
- Tertiary Degree in business, management, or learning-related discipline and/or equivalent work experience or a Diploma or higher level in Adult Education.
- Vocational qualification for specific learning areas or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Current Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma in (TAE50116, TAE50216 or TAE50122) containing 200 hours of supervised practicum, or higher VET qualification, including TAEDEL502 Studies in Adult Learning Methodology, and TAERES501 Apply Research to Training and Assessment Practices preferred.
- Experience with effectively leading, engaging and developing teams to the attainment of organisational goals.
- Ability to effectively translate strategic goals into a meaningful and measurable operational plan.
- Sound commercial acumen and the ability to manage financial budgets and activities.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong results against organisational goals for which the role is responsible.
- A solid understanding of the Australian educational governance framework as it pertains to the team's activities (ASQA, VRQA and other regulatory bodies).
- Highly developed relationship building and influencing skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate effectively across large groups and deal with personal matters sensitively.
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through critical thinking and a high work ethic.
- A confident and flexible approach.
- Current and valid Victorian driver's licence and ability to travel between BKI sites and workplaces.

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be accountable for providing contract administration support for Chisholm’s capital works and asset upgrade programs. You will be supporting the Projects & Asset Delivery Manager to deliver capital works, asset maintenance programs, space management and contractor management processes.
Your key accountabilities will be to:
- Maintain current project plans and risk registers
- Filing and documentation management
- Develop and maintain contract, compliance and asset registers
- Prepare Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation
- Assist with the preparation of Request for Tender (RFT) documentation
- Support the Projects & Asset Delivery Manager to coordinate project works with the Operations team
- Support implementation of Chisholm’s Campus Masterplan
- Commit to pursuing cost-effective outcomes and efficiency across all projects
ABOUT YOU
You will have relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Contract Administration or similar construction-related discipline, or demonstrated practical experience in this area.
Crucial to your success will be your highly developed contract administration skills, as well as interpersonal and customer relation skills.
You are a highly motivated person with excellent time management and communication skills, planned and analytical approach to workflow management.
