The Department of Allied Health Services and Science at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links and state of the art simulation facilities. 

The department is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in the certificate III Dental Assisting courses.

Our Students undertake work placement in a variety of Dental Clinics, and there will be a requirement to travel and visit these students at their placement locations for their clinical assessments.

Essential requirements are:

  • Relevant industry qualification in Dental Assisting
  • Must hold a minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience in Dental Assisting work
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven ability to work independently

Salary: $71,107 to $100,818 p.a. pro rata (range dependent upon qualifications and experience) + 9.5% superannuation and annual leave loading.
Time Fraction: 0.7 EFT, Part Time.
Location: Chadstone Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Contract of Employment 31 December 2020.
