TAFE Gippsland has a unique opportunity for a highly experienced educational leader to take on the role of Education Advisor. The Education Advisor will be a key and active participant of the curriculum team providing expertise to teaching areas on educational planning, design and delivery with an emphasis on innovative assessment design.

About the role
As the Education Advisor, you will provide leadership and expert advice to educators in the implementation of outstanding educational practices and processes across TAFE Gippsland.
The position will focus on implementing quality and consistent assessment practice, as well as providing pedagogic leadership expertise with an emphasis on planning, design and facilitation to enhance learner outcomes. The role will support and guide educators in the design and development of course delivery and assessment with embedded adherence to external regulation and registration standards.
To be successful in this role you will be an exceptional communicator with the ability to develop strong collaborative relationships using influence and trust. You will have a demonstrated ability to work with a range of teaching teams to implement change practices in teaching and assessment.
A six month probationary period applies to this position.
Education and Experience
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 plus upgrade units or TAE40116), or
Diploma of VET (TAE50111) or equivalent experience, or
An approved teaching qualification at AQF6 level is highly desirable, and
Extensive educator mentoring and/or teaching experience, and
- Experience working in the VET or TAFE sector is essential
Mandatory Licences and Checks
A valid Working with Children Check (WWC) Assessment Notice and/or WWC Card
Current (less than 12 months old) satisfactory National Police Check
Current Drivers Licence
