ABOUT THE ROLE

The primary focus of the Learning Facilitators is to support teachers and students by providing support to ensure students comply with hygiene and social/physical distancing measures whilst on campus.

Chisholm’s Learning Facilitator initiative is designed to support teachers and students resume onsite course delivery and provide meaningful work during these challenging times.

It is essential that students feel safe and supported when returning to our campuses.

The duties of the role includes but is not limited to:

• Directing students to the wash facilities and hand sanitiser stations;
• Reminding students of the need to practise good hygiene (i.e. hand washing and how to cover the face when coughing or sneezing);
• Pointing out signage/ floor markers/ layout indicating required social / physical distancing;
• Provide support in the cleaning of commonly touched surfaces;
• Support in the setup, management and maintenance of: 
- Physical social distancing measures;
- Hygiene supplies;
- Signage, posters and other visual aids.
- Temperature screen of students
• Refer students who communicate they are experiencing challenges to student support services.
