The Department of Community & Social Inclusion at Holmesglen provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. 

The department is currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated individuals to effectively design and teach theoretical and practical sessions to students in any of the following:

Certificate I in Transition Education and Certificate I in Work Education

  • Certificate IV in Youth Work
  • Certificate IV in Disability
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Diploma of Community Services
  • Diploma of Mental Health
  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Justice


  • Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Previous experience in a teaching or training role preferred
  • Current VIT registration (for Certificate I Transition Education and Certificate I Work Education) highly regarded

Salary: $78.28-$84.57p/h + superannuation
Time Fraction: Negotiable
Location: Moorabbin, Chadstone & Waverley Campus
WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.
Position Status: Casual
