We are currently seeking an experienced Teacher - Vocational English to join our Foundation and Pathways team at Bendigo city campus.

The incumbent will work within the Vocational English Department to deliver the AMEP/SEE programs. The incumbent's primary objectives are to design and provide quality face to face English language training to the department's students, undertake a range of administrative, coordination and learning service activities directly related to the areas taught, conduct ACSF initial assessments and contribute to compliant delivery under the supervision of the Lead Educator.

The primary task of Vocational English centre is to provide energetic, communicative, intensive and technology rich lessons and assessment within delivery. The purpose of the delivery is to enable students in improving their English Language proficiency (or)delete to achieve an appropriate level for entry into their chosen pathway.

  • Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent, and a post graduate TESOL Qualification in adult education
  • Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411) (TAELLN401A). A diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
