We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Corrections Education team at the Ravenhall Correctional Centre campus.

The role requires experience in leading educators and the management of multiple educational programs. You will work closely with a Campus Manager, an admin team and teachers in planning and delivering vocational training and the assessment of students at the Correctional Centre. Providing leadership to the teaching team is also key part of the role, that includes guiding curriculum development, scheduling classes and innovating delivery. There is assistance in completing all these tasks from BKI's Centre for Corrections and colleagues based at other correctional facilities. It is a highly collaborative and rewarding role.

Corrections teaching roles are well supported and resourced within the Bendigo Kangan Institute. There is an experienced teaching team located at the Ravenhall campus with students willing to be engaged


  • Tertiary Degree in Business, Management or Government Policy, or a proven history of extensive leadership or management skills.
  • Previous work experience in the VET sector would be highly advantageous
  • Successful applicants will also have to provide a current Working with Children Check and Federal Police Check.
